A Memoir About Hope

Who are you?

Erin Nicole Johnson

What is your project?

An attempt at vulnerability, this memoir explores my life—mainly focusing on my 20s—where I battled with depression and my own mind. It also explores where I am today through a non-linear healing journey. Ultimately, it’s about how hope is always present and, by refusing to give up, we can make it through the darkness.

What will you ship at the end of 6 months?

My goal at the end of 6 months is to ship a first draft of my memoir. The essay will be posted on Substack on Sunday, but you can read it here. No feedback needed, but if you’re so inclined, do you follow the flow from one point to the next?
