Decision Engineering Book Proposal

Who are you?

Michelle Florendo

What is your project?

I am working on a book that helps achievers who tend to have lots of options make big decisions with less stress and more clarity.

I combine my background having studied decision engineering at Stanford as an undergrad, with the emotional awareness and observations I’ve developed over 2000+ hours of coaching conversations with clients. I believe that emotions are not the enemy in decision-making, rather, they can be valuable sources of data if you know how to decipher them.

I have a half-done book proposal from 5 years ago, and I plan to finish it here in Brainstorm Road.

Can we see some photos?

In addition to sharing some of my WIP here on Brainstorm Road, I’ll be sharing bits and pieces of my WIP via LinkedIn and my email newsletter (which folks can sign up for via my podcast website if interested).

What will you ship at the end of 6 months?

At the end of my 6 months here in Brainstorm Road, I plan to ship the first draft of my book proposal, which will include 2-3 sample chapters from the book! I look forward to getting feedback on my sample chapters from my fellow Roadies.

Updates will be posted in my scratchpad.
